The QuimP software from Bretschneider group is depolyed as imageJ plugin and includes model-based cell segmentation, cell outline tracking and quantification of spatially resolved speed of protrusions and retractions2590.
The algorithm to calculate morphological dynamics is very fast compared to other approaches
